Why did you join MedTech?

I have a big passion for the field and joining the society has allowed me to join other like minded people and explore it even further. Having the urge to care for others while also enjoying problems solving and advancing technology, this field is able to combine these passions of mine and joining the society allows me to explore this in a fun and social way.

Having been on the committee for two years now, I have already gained great connections with others in the industry, continuously learning more about the different kinds of technology used in healthcare and have loved using my networking and organisation skills to organise successful conferences, programmes and events which help to inspire others.

I am greatly looking forward to running and growing the society further, continuing its success and engaging more with students who share the same passion for the field. 

Area of Interest?

AI and robotics used for surgery with a strong interest in the field of fetal medicine/surgery

No specific books or podcasts but I use LinkedIn a lot to follow many different companies, people and journals which allows me to see updates and articles from the latest in the field.
